Default Where to buy Acetyl L-carnitine

Hi Pete,

I believe they do sell the "stuff" at Rite Aid, but with vitamins, etc. it's important to get them from a good manufacturer since they aren't regulated. I like Twin Labs for most of my vitamins.

You can also get them online from numerous places - I've been using drugstore.com. A side benefit of the Acetyl L-Carnitine with ALA is ENERGY, something my disease robs me of. It helps with neuropathy issues as well, if you experience any tingling or numbness anywhere.

I hope you can find some and get some relief with it. I don't know why the pharmaceuticals feel it necessary to mess with formulas - I guess they need to justify costs and such - they always seem to do something that causes side affects, some we aren't even aware of. Because of other meds you are on, you should probably run this by your doc just to make sure. Lord knows I'm not familiar with every drug and possible interaction with supplements, but like I said, I've not seen any contraindications with this.

Let me know how it goes!

Wonderful advice!

Thank you both!
(Although, I didn't ask, I learned!).
