Hello Ewizabeth + Virginia,
We're both on the thin side as well, and had a very hard, but high end mattress. I am on my feet all day whilst at work and we always felt that a hard mattress would be best. My husband slept on the "SELECT COMFORT" mattress at a Radisson Hotel and loved it.
We bought ours at a local mattress store that is an approved dealer for "SELECT COMFORT". They have a 30 day trial period if you don't like it. You can return the mattress and they will donate it to a shelter. We learned that they can not resell any type of mattress.
I had another wonderful night's sleep last night, and didn't even take any zanaflex for spasms, which is quite unusual for me. I believe they have a website explaining how the mattress works if you'd like to see it. The link to the website is
www.personalsleep.com
If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask me. I'm quite thrilled with our newest addition. I do have a suggestion if you want to try it out. You can check into a Radisson Hotel overnight and sleep on one of their mattresses and see how you like it. We had to play around with different settings the first night we slept on ours.
Best of luck to you both,
Chris
