My tummy is so contrary, I started out with just 2000IU's of Vit D. I am going to ask to have it retested, just to see if it's improving at all. 26 is too low though, don't you think?

I feel the same way about normal ranges. They need to take in consideration, those of us who are not so healthy. Even when I am feeling fairly good, I still have all these other issues, so I can't understand how a doctor can actually say, "You are so healthy, you will live another 50 yrs." Another 50 yrs is great, but please, can I actually be healthy for those 50 yrs?

We urge all doctors to take time to listen to your patients.. don't "isolate" symptoms but look at the whole spectrum. If a patient tells you s/he feels as if s/he's falling apart and "nothing seems to be working properly", chances are s/he's right!
