A few weeks ago I saw a Phys Asst at my PCP office when I went in for a blood pressure check and lab work papers. He wrote the name of the med down for me and mentioned that is was brand new and suggested I ask my anesth. about it at my next appt. All he knew was that it was a fibro med that was also being marketed for chronic pain.
Based on how the other meds in this category work, I would think you would need to take it for about at least a few weeks to see whether it works for you or not, right?
I am pretty happy with Cymbalta, so I don't know whether I would want to switch. Nor have I done any research on Savella yet.
