Hi rezmommy!
Hey hon! It DOES put it all in perspective, though I just wish I did not have to choose to be thin or healthy - I would (of course) choose HEALTHY, but it still hurts like heck when people who haven't seen me in a while are shocked and say things like "You used to be so thin!"! I just want to SMACK them! I have not become lazy, but the pred does add weight - it just does! It also keeps me alive! What a pain!
I guess the whole swallowing thing affected me more than I thought, b/c I refuse to go anywhere without my drink (complete with spoon).....it was just so scary toward the end - maybe 1-2 ensures a day if I was strong enough....that was IT for the WHOLE day
Erin.
