I use to get quick little stings on my face. Very painful, but was gone as soon as it happened. It was before I knew I had ms. I thought something was biting me. But it happened too many times to have been that. So I'm pretty sure it was the ms.

The burning in the face is very painful. It hurts worse to lay my face on a pillow. I hope you get some relief soon!
