An MRI can show more of the tissues and ligaments than a CT can from what I have heard. A CT is more of your brain and if you already had a MRI they must be doing a CT to cover all aspects I would think. I don't think one is safer or more harmful than the other. They are both test that tell the doctor's different things or the same things at times so i wouldn't be to worried.
