I've noticed that the heat really only gets me bad if I seem to be in a flare.
That doesnt mean that it doesnt suck the life out of me, just that I'm capable of getting around in the heat for a little longer when I'm not in a flare. I sit outside with my parents in the afternoon a lot, even when the sun is blasting down.
Then I come back into the house and descend into my basement, where the temperature in my room can be 10 degrees cooler than what the upstairs thermostat claims. (65 degrees in the basement when the a/c upstairs is set for 74)
I crochet and knit enough that if I start to feel really cold in my basement in the summer, I grab a shawl or two that I've crocheted and use that to keep warm.
Time to go worship the a/c duct in my bedroom ceiling. While covered in blankies. I need a nap.
