I think it changes us, but it changes them, too!!!

It must be hard to see me have !a good day, to be laughing and say "let's swim" or something I usually cannot do...

And then three days later I am writhing in bed, moaning, crying silently as the pain is so tortuous.

My partner does believe me, but when we fight he likes to throw my meds in as an accusation. Luckily, I've never abused them, nor drank, so he doesn't have much ammunition against me...hahaha.

But all in all he's taken care of me so I can't complain right now. These things seem to go in cycles.

What really helped my other half was to get into a MEN"S (not coed) group and get active with guys his age, hiking, golf, movies, etc., and they help to keep him grounded and away from drinking the stress away. There is a LOT of stress on our partners because other than drive us to docs, there's not much they can do to help us with an incurable condition.

Pray that God will work on his heart. I will for you.

Love Tam
