I take the 180mg timed released mestinon at night and 60mg regular about 4 times during the day. I have to eat a little something when I take the timed release at night or I have some side effects of minor twitching or stomach upset. I usually take it with a cup of warm tea and a few crackers or piece of bread. If I do that, I'm fine. I really like the timed-released for nights.
