There ae alot of people who are bipolar who work in the regular work force.
If you have insurance and want to use it to see pdocs and therapists then it will be in your record. (the specifics won't though)
If you choose to pay out of pocket then it won't...that is I don't think so.
I agree with di, tell them that you are having hormonal balance issues and are seeking treatment.
It is much more acceptable to see someone for depression than for bipolar disorder IMO. In the eyes of the general public.....jsut tell them that you suffer from depression which is true! so you jsut don't have to go into all of that.
I am on my hubbys medical insurance and they know that I am bipolar but I am self employed now so I don't have any other employees or boss to worry about.
I too work in the medical field.
