There have been clinical studies where they have taken large groups of patients with radial fractures (wrist), from 2 seperate hospitals and one hospital has given their group of patients vitimin C (antioxident) in one of three doses. The other hospital used normal routine and did not perscribe vitimin C.
The hospital that perscribed vitimin C had two thirds less RSD cases of RSD in their group of radial fracture patients.
I believe the dose of vitimin C that was decided to be nessary was 1000 to 1500mg.. the doses tested were 500, 1000, and 1500mg.
Now this is not to say it will positivly stop spread Bobber, but it has for some people and if it can stop RSD from happening in 2/3rds of the cases to begin with it IS worth trying seriously.
This is also why it is so important to get the word out there about RSD/CRPS.. how many broken bones turn into RSD needlesly.. if all hospitals changed their protocal and perscribed vitimin C there would be alot less of us.
Hugs bud nice to meet'cha,
Sandra
Ps the study's are posted on this forum somewhere.
At 6 months and spreading with this knowlege of these studys, I would live breathe and eat everything antioxident, go online do research you have nothing to loose and so much to gain.
