For me, "trigger" symptoms are different than overdoing things or infection ...

Heat, stress, exercise, excertion, showers, cold, etc. will trigger worsening symptoms for me, but when the trigger is removed, I recover fairly quickly (usually minutes/hours).

Infection and overdoing things can take me several days to recover from. If I plan a weekend away where I am out of my element/comfort zone, for instance, I KNOW not to plan anything for the following week at least. If I take a 10 day vacation, I need a month to recover. If I get infection, it might take up to three weeks to recover IF I caught it in time.
