Gosh bluisue27, it sounds like you've been through a really rotten time.

What you describe does not sound normal. I've not had my own tubes tied but I did work for a Gyno for many years as his RN, and we saw many ladies pre and post this procedure.

It's common for women to have heavier bleeding after the op, but I don't remember anyone complaining of that much bleeding or that much pain. Any continued bleeding should be investigated as it can quickly lead to anemia. Often a curette is needed to get things back on track, but there just may be hidden reasons for it.... like fibroids or endometriosis.

I suggest that you make an appointment with the gyno who performed your tubal ligation, and let him/her know what you're going through.
