I took Tegretol for many yrs. and then right out of the blue I broke out with a rash, my neuro I was seeing then put me on Trileptal and I told him it was almost like Tegretol and once again I broke out with a rash, then I tried Lamictal and I broke out with a rash. I feel the same way you do I'm sick and tired of having sz. and my sz. have gotten worse over the yrs. even though I had surgery to reduce them. According to the Epi who I'm seeing now he told me that when a woman goes through their change it can make the sz. worse or sometimes better. You might want to try taking vitamin B12 magnesium, and go on the ketogenic diet. I've found this to be of some help for me. I'm no Dr. but it sounds like you might be drug resistant like I am.
