You can look at this in reverse of what Mary said. (I've had it done that way too)!

But, say your doctor is going on vacation.
What mine does is this: (No matter who is going away, or whatever).

He writes my script for say Methadone.
It's dated, the day he see's me, but is noted "Do not fill before" usually a month later. And, all is good in the world again.

Some folks, really have a way of making life difficult, but to think that you'd be limited to staying with your Sis for only as long a script allows, is craziness! Your Doctors Craziness!

Call them, talk it out, explain your situation, and they SHOULD work something out for you!
