Default Welcome!

Hi Richard!

I am glad you have found the NT forums.
I see you have posted on the headache forum! Great!
I've had life-long migraines, so I can feel your pain!

Generally speaking, if testing (scans, EEGs and all) do not give a clear reason for the cause of headache, the causes tend to be rather multi-factorial. By this, I mean, several factors may come together, at the same time, triggering migraine. There may/may not be a migraine history in your family. You may be exposed to environmental toxins and/or some types of foods that tend to trigger migraine. For some people, time spent on video games triggers migraines. There are so many triggers for migraine activity!

I'd suggest you continue inquiring in the headache forum, in the chronic pain forum, etc. Some days, the forums are a little slow, as people are busy on weekends (and during the week) and people tend to take vacations in the summer months, etc. However, I do feel the forums here, associated with neurological issues, are truly outstanding! I hope you can be patient with any slower forum just now. I think it will be well worth your while!

Feel free to just jump in on any forum! You may find others of interest to you while exploring this site!

Again, welcome to the NeuroTalk forums!
