I was diagnosed with arthritis when I was just 21. It was so bad I was almost crippled with it, at times I could hardly walk. I took massive doses of aspirin (and I don't recommend this) and gold shots. I went into remission when I got pregnant with my son at age 29 and have been in remission since.. that was almost 30 years ago. So I wonder if hormones have something to do with it.

If you can get one of those paraffin hot wax baths, they not only feel wonderful but can help too. I use to get them done as part of my therapy way back when. So I was glad to see that you could buy your own too. I have one and it's pretty easy to use, but I find it helps to have someone help you.

In addition to what Bobber suggested... good exercise is typing and playing the piano.

Extra vitamin C (oranges and tomatoes), and calcium (I take Viactiv)...

Do relaxing exercises, meditate.

Keep your hands warm, wear gloves when the weather is cold.
