What Mrs. D said is so true. I can get a moment of loss of hearing in one ear or the other, like being under water. The N-ENT did say that the vacuum pressure in the sinuses are not equal at that time. He said to hold your nose and gently blow too, like Mrs. D said. It pops the ear open as the pressure builds up again and equalizes.

It changes the pressure and you can hear properly again. He said our bodies normally do this on it's own about 100 times a day. Ever yawn and hear your ear pop? Or when eating? That's normal.

We get so used to our bodies doing so many of these things for us, we don't even realize how truly amazing our bodies can be. Like a sneeze even is good.

Then of course, some things don't amaze us, just annoy the heck out of us.

"Life is what it is". We can only focus on controlling those things we can control, we must let go of the things we can't.
