Hi Linda,
sorry you have such a bad time with plasma exchage. I've never had it.
I have had ivig, and think its wonderful, the only side effect I've ever had is a migrane, but if I'd taken a few painkillers early on I don't think this would have developed, as I did drink lots during the whole process.
