I don't have any home remedies; I can just say... reading what you've been feeling, I can just about feel the pain myself.

I honestly haven't any idea what your doc might suggest. I know that when I've nerve pain (in my face and dental related), ice packs help. Huge caveat: Mine isn't related to extraction(s).

That you're seeing bone, it suggests to me, you've made the best decisions so far. I hope they're able to see you earlier than in the afternoon. The less suffering you feel, the better.
