We used to walk down to the little 5 & 10 cent store and get those little tiny brown bags of penny candy. Do they even make bags that small anymore?!

I'd always get the grape bubble gum that came individually wrapped in clear plastic. Then the wax lips, the candy cigarettes, the "dots", and that round piece of caramel with the white sugary center (caramel creams). The Boston Beans (which were really peanuts with some sort of candy coating), the pixy stix and bit 'o honey.

Remember the candy necklace? I miss all that stuff.....it's a wonder our teeth didn't rot! But we had Close Up toothpaste!!
