Lightbulb Bioperine:

I am experimenting with this supplement enhancing compound.

I'll let you all know after my vacation, how it has worked.

It is an extract from the black pepper plant, and enhances absorption of drugs/nutrients from the GI tract.

People taking RX medications should not use this extract because it might change your responses to the drugs you use. But for people not using drugs for their PN, this might be helpful. I'll post in a few months, about my progress.

But I take it only in the morning, when I don't use my blood pressure meds, but when I take most of my supplements.

Doctor's Best products have this added to them. And I also found a paper on cholesterol mentioning that Bioperine does lower cholesterol! I stopped Red Yeast Rice last Feb when my muscles started hurting, and instead was taking CoQ-10 with Bioperine, and when I had my blood tests, my cholesterol did not go up at all. Now I think it was the Bioperine that kept me at the Red Yeast Rice levels!
