Well I finally heard back form the doctor. He wants me to slowly stop taking the neurontin over the next 10 days and then he is going to have me try amitriptyline. I hope I can handle going off of it while my sister and niece are here.

I have been putting ice bags on my arm or head. It does help for awhile.
