Well, well, well.......that would go along with the lupus, but will we ever really know? It would certainly explain the insomnia and narcotics for pain. As I've mentioned many times here, there's no way I can go to sleep at a "normal" time -- 2:30 am now -- for me 6 to 7 am is better and then I only sleep a little at a time since the pain usually wakes me up....grrrrrrr! A regular, full night's sleep sounds like a dream.
And then the pain.......it never goes away 24/7.

Analgesics and anti-convulsants help take the edge off, but it's never gone. Like the MS pain, we're all looking for some relief. It will be interesting following the investigation!
Maybe someday, all of these unknown causes, treatments, cures will be history....
