Oh Erin,
I'm sorry and I can definitely sympathize! My daughter moved to Texas when my grandbaby (who turned 10 today, by the way), was 18 mos. old. I thought I would die. They had lived with us her whole life, and I remember when I said goodbye to her with tears streaming down my face, she gave me the most puzzled look! It still almost makes me cry remember the feelings.
One thing I can tell you, is that your little Lilli won't forget you - call her often - and you'll see, their voices are even sweeter on the phone from a long distance. And remember, nothing is permanent! Do you think your sis would let Lilli come for visits with you in the summer months?
Big hugs to you Erin! My heart breaks for you, so your's has company!
