Sorry to hear about your mom Cara ((hugs)). My MIL was in the hospital at her 90th birthday with intestinal bleeding. My SIL thought she was just being dramatic, but it was something real. Luckily, she was in Florida at the time and they are used to treating the elderly. Her stupid doctors here in Colorado told her to take baby aspirin on top of the coumodin she was taking. It caused her intestines to bleed. As soon as she stopped the aspirin, she was better.

Our power went out for about 2 hours on Christmas day, which was slightly disconcerting as we were cooking dinner. We still managed to overcook the turkey . We have another big snowstorm rolling into Colorado today. If it dumps again like it did last week, it will be a record!
