Sharon, first I wanted to say welcome! 
I myself have had lower back problems all my life. I had my fifth surgery last October. Everything is going better than I thought. This past sping I was feel pretty good when one day I made just a tiny move and I had a very sharp pain coming from below my surgery. I was afriad I had really screwed things up...the doc said I had pulled or stretched a ligament where I had previously been fused. I just did the ice heat stuff and took Aleve. It went away and I haven't had a problems with it...if you or just have questions...you can Pm me...take care and I hope you get relief soon!!
