My vote for what it is worth: ignore the card.

My ex-MIL finally stopped calling me after about 10 years. I tried to ignore her calls but sometimes ended up talking to her. I hated talking to her after all I had gone through with her stupid uncaring son. It didn't matter that during the marriage she thought I was great for him or that she was not a bad person. That part of my life was over over over.
