The theme you replied to is actually part of BJ's signature (in other words, it appears after every one of her posts.) So, it was not actually part of a post on this thread at all. As for what it means, I do not know BJ's position on an elderly and suffering animal, but consider this: some people "euthanize" (or so they call it) when their pet gives birth as a way of "dealing with" the litter... isn't that ugly? So, I believe BJ's signature is referring to this - that if one does not wish their pet to have offspring, they should sterilize their pet, not kill the offspring afterwards. However, perhaps you can PM her if you want to ask her more. (This thread is really not intended for such ethical debate - which can get heated. ) I mostly wanted to let you know that those words were a signature / motto.
