Holy Guacamoly!! I tried to follow the bread crumbs to your new thread Judy dear, but AMN kept eating them. Whew, I made it. 
Wow, so much has gone on w/everyone and I am so out of the loop, as haven't been online much at all.
I will try and read a little more and update, but sure am sorry about all your nasty pain, Judy and of course, your Mother, Sandy. I am aware of all AMN's antics w/the Bot, so don't have to catch up there. She's still as dorky as ever. 
Since you asked, dear Judy~ my niece had brain/skull surgery to repair Chiari Malformation and is recuping at home now. She is 35 and like another DD to us. It was very risky/serious surgery and we are all so very thankful that is behind her now.
I am still having the eye/neck pain, but see my Dr on Thurs. I'm like you, as long as I try and keep ahead of the pain, it doesn't seem as harsh, but I had a few days that I felt like cutting my head off. blech!!
What's a noodle kugel? It sounds kinky!! (kidding) ha!
