I don't remember reading in any journal articles about such a variation in temp sensitivity between affected limbs, but will look again.

I'm like Heather--extremely sensitive to cold most of the time, and do better in warm weather than in cold weather. We had a 4-day stretch of 98-100 degree weather this last summer (in Wisconsin!) while we were camping, and I had absolutely no symptoms until we got back into the air conditioned van to drive home.
