Hi Virginia! Sorry you missed the thread about my wild experience, but I actually still have the first post if you didn't get to read that one. I hate that the whole thing disappeared, because people added a lot of interesting info later that might help others if it happens to them.

I had taken so much time writing the description, I ended up sending it to a few family/friends to give them a heads up if it happens again. Or, if it happens to them. Apparently the flashing migraine aura is extremely common, but generally harmless, I guess.

I'm glad to see some familiar faces and names here, as well as new friendly ones! I think most of us panicked a little during the last crash, even those who don't post a lot. It surprises me how much I worry & wonder about people I only know online, but I do.

I got an "instant" dx of both MS & HNPP in July, 2003, but had likely had MS for at least 30 years by then. I've never taken any prescription meds for either MS or MS symptoms (except 1 yr on LDN).
