Thumbs Up

Thanks Cheri. That was a good one.

Seems like the more we try to bring comfort and convenience into our lives, the more hectic our lives become. I try my best to stay in the moment and cherish that time.

A comedian on TV (can't remember his name) told a story about his little boy at a fountain. He told the little boy to make a wish, then toss the penny into the water. After the boy had tossed the penny, he asked the boy what he wished for. The boy said he wished to toss the penny in the water.

When things don't go as planned or if I'm stuck waiting for something for long periods of time, it's best to just go with the flow. It's a great opportunity to learn the art of patience - it has it's rewards. I prefer to use that time for reflection and prayer on other matters.
