Rsd
I have only been in this forum for a short while. Whilst in the chat section the term RSD was mentioned. I had no idea what that was so I looked in other forums.
I have cerebellar/brainstem damage from antiepileptic drugs. this shows as truncal ataxia and paralysis of all paraspinal muscles both motor and sensory.
The home situation is that I cannot get into my kitchen in my wheelchair. So I walk using what muscles I have available.... If I dont get in there, I dont eat.
For several years now, I have noticed that short exercise like that makes my paralysed muscles very hot. Although I have little or no feeling in my back, it feels as if someone is holding a heat source next to my back. After eating and clearing up afterwards, I sit and relax all possible muscles. After about 2 hours things cool down again.
This seems to follow the pattern of RSD-- food for thought now methinks
