i'm new to this myself but have 50+ years of experience with dr.s to draw on. and my grandfather was an m.d.. dr.s are reluctant to criticize each other. this is possibly being overly polite. it's almost a cya thing sometimes. on the other hand, you probably should, if not immediately, at least eventually, provide your new dr. with your complete medical records.
another problem today is the number of dr.s, i've got 3 so far. my mom was just in the hospital and somehow ended up with like 6. half the time dr. A didn't know what dr. B was doing treatment-wise.
