I too, have CFS.

Quote:
fatigue
severe headache
trouble staying asleep
joint pain
sore throat
swollen glands
trouble with vision
memory and congnitive difficutlies
The least of my symptoms is swollen glands, but that happens too. I have been experiencing the sore throat all week, usually at work. I just woke up from a nap, having fallen asleep after sitting down on the couch after supper. I am much better now about staying asleep...I don't know why this worked, but I gave up dairy, for other reasons, and my insomnia went away. I have a headache, every hour of every day, it never goes away. Just last week I was evaluated by my optimetrist for trouble with my vision, I am seeing a glare in my right eye. Forget about my memory, it seems nearly non-existant.

My PN has probably been around for 10 years or more, just getting an official diagnoses a few years ago. My CFS was diagnosed this last Feb. I don't know that they go hand in hand...it's possible for one person to deal with many problems...lucky us huh?

We urge all doctors to take time to listen to your patients.. don't "isolate" symptoms but look at the whole spectrum. If a patient tells you s/he feels as if s/he's falling apart and "nothing seems to be working properly", chances are s/he's right!
