I was just reading through this thread & wanted to add that I have a good friend who's grandson has autism. His mother was a well known rhumatiod arthritis doctor. They reside in Arizona now. She no longer practices due to the ridiculous prices of insurance that doctors have to pay and she is now an investigator for the state looking into malpractice suits. She checks the doctors out to make sure they did the right thing.

I know when my friend came to visit & I was telling her of my gluten intolerance & how it affects my peripheal neuropathy thats when she told me of her grandson. His mother did all the research to diagnoise her son because they could not find a doctor that truly believed the child had a gluten problem & his mom is a doctor.

So after doing the research & changing his diet the boy is fine now. He too was having problems in school & a lot of other symptoms.

Also not sure I can post this here so let me know....I follow the videos of a gal in you tube that has a son with autism. She does not have very many recipes on there but I can tell you....after paying $6-$7.00 for different brands of gluten free bread this gal finally showed me how to make a bread I can actually eat & ENJOY & not cheat with.

For me gluten has given me a chronic pain that is at a 10 every day. My gluten allergy affects my peripheal neuropathy & I am still coming to terms with all this so I cheat & I suffer something terrible.
