Port
Erin, I am getting a port put in on Thursday, the reason I decided on the port is because it is placed inside the body and not "hanging out" which lessons chance of infection. The port will be put in at my right chest bone area and when I get my weekly infusions the nurse will only have to "poke" me once not up to four times like before also whenever blood work needs to be done again just one poke. I can't wait as my veins "roll" and "Blow" so not having to be jabbed over and over will be a relief.
