I'm sorry you have RSD and are scared. I have had an epidural, but not for RSD. I had one for a C-Section. This was 30 years ago. But I still remember it. You feel no pain after the injection. You can feel sensation of movements, but you are in no pain. I get thru procedures like a MRI etc. thru visualization and meditation. I close my eyes, and picture myself on a favorite beach in Hawaii. I picture the sun and waves. or picture doing something I love, like water skiing, tennis, You can memorize a favorate verse in the Bible that brings you comfort. Getting your mind off of the procedure and onto to other things is a positive thing. Hope all goes well, and please know we are thinking of you. Your friend, loretta
