That was very interesting. I didn't think many people showed cognitive decline in the first clinical event of MS. I know they want to treat the first clinical relapse (probable/benign MS) with DMD's now. But to predict the future of decline is something I thought no one really could do, not even the MS specialists and researchers. Hmm

Don't we all know that they can't tell our future? Wasn't that something everyone would like to know? I thought too many factors can change the course of the disease, so how can they know with certainty?

I hope they discuss more about this. I'd loved to know how they come to these conclusions.

I did read that if the first five years was bad, with a lot of problems and relapses than they felt it would continue on that way. That is all I seem to remember. Maybe someone else on here knows more on this. I don't think these people were labeled Benign either, but RRMS or SPMS.
