The Neupro Patch didn't work for everyone - neither my Doctor nor I felt it did anything for me. So your mother might run into that problem. Frankly, the higher the dose of neupro - the larger the patch. I had trouble relocating it on my person so it wasn't on the same patch of skin in a two week period.
But having said that, I know that neupro worked well for many people.
I'm taking requip xl and it works fine for me.
