Default Tilt Table Test

On the 5th, I am having a tilt table test. I had a more 'informal' one before, but nothing was hooked up to me. For this one, my Cardiologist and my Neurologist will both be present, and I will be having an EKG, EEG and something else hooked up to me (memory issues, hehe).

She said, if she cannot get my heart to do what it did during my VEEG they may give me an injection to force this eratic behavior on my heart.

I personally think it sounds fascinating, in some ways - I like being a lab rat as long as drugs aren't involved. I really enjoy when they let me ask about the tests and really participate.

They'd both said not to worry about the injection which from what people told me, the slang for it is 'heart attack shot'. Sounds like a hoot, huh?!

Background to save you reading, during my VEEG they picked up 'weird behavior'. There were well over 50 episodes like such:

My BP would drop to ~ 70/40
My temp would rise to around 99-100
My heartrate would rise to ~150
After all of that happens, my brain would go bonkers and start to fire off random epileptiform discharges, spikes and waves.

My Epileptologist said she believes it is Dysautonomic Syncope with (associated) Chronic Peripheral Neuropathy.

(Pardon spelling errors, my computer broke down and I didn't update firefox on this one to check my spelling).

I'm at the point where I just grin and nod. My Cardiologist is a good one, she will not name drop anything unless she's sure. She said she has ideas, but prefers to not share ideas and worry people. Hah!

Anyway, I hear the test is very boring and I'll be strapped to a table standing upright for around 45 minutes. I will be there from noon until 4:00pm (giving time to hook everything up).
