I wonder at how relieved the kids are to be home. Granddoody was a handful on the trip and step-grandma was peeved at his breaking a few things.

I wonder at how funny it was to hear about granddoody in the Salt Lake City airport. He toddled over to an elderly couple (who were sitting on the bench near my kids), laid his head in the lady's lap, and patted her. She and her hubby laughed and she patted him on the head. What a schmooz.
