Yep, me too. When I was well and working I was practically never home. I did a lot of traveling for work, and I really enjoyed putting in the extra hours when it was necessary. I was quite athletic, and I adored the out of doors.
These days, though, I really enjoy the comforts of home. You all are right about staying home for sometimes weeks on end, especially in the winter when walking can be treacherous.
I tend to think of it as a form of balance in my life. I used to go, go, go. So now I stay, stay, stay - home. I kind of enjoy my own company, and I am never at a loss for something interesting to do.
