Go back to the dentist. Have them check again. You can have pain from a tooth that needs a root canal without the dentist finding any sign of an infection.
You need to have them check it again, and if it is infected, get it taken care of right away.
I have a feeling that part of what triggered my vision problem this summer (among a few other MS oddities) was an abscessed tooth...I think things were helped along by a UTI also, but I think the tooth problem was involved too.
