Hello Awna,
I wish you the best of luck. You will be sore and becareful when moving. You will have a large elastic belt that will hold everything tight until the permanent implant is done.
Don't worry about the surgeon. My motto is don't borrow trouble. Don't worry about things that you can't contorl or that may never occur. Your doctor is a professional and will conduct himself/herself as such.
I has a SCS put in 3 years ago. Besure you understand the remote. Have them go over it with you before they start to medicate you. Have a phone number to reach the SCS technician after hours.
