OH! How this is true. I am always slow to come out of anesthesia and it is a good thing my wife was around when they showed me the remote. I was still out of it. Learn about the device while you are still fully alert. Afterwards, they will run through it their allotted amount of time and then move on.

Years ago, I had foot surgery and got “instructions” on how use crutches while I was groggy, sick from morphine, and hooked up to an IV. It sure would have made more sense to get the crutches and instructions beforehand and maybe even able to practice while I was still well.
