As someone in the UK, who recieves free healthcare thanks to our National Health Service........however slowly, I have always considered myself very lucky in considering people in other countries, and how they pay for so many complex and no doubt expensive operations.

Until recently, I have wondered how people manage to pay for their hydrocephalus operations in the states, and how the heck they manage to get insured. So because of this, I'm just wondering, as a side issue, do you find the health costs associated with the condition large?.

I dont honestly know how I'd cope if I had to pay for my medical problems and who the heck would cover me.
