Thanks for the comments.

What makes the cold/damp really hard, is that our summer place is spartan. NO electricity (save a small generator which we used more this year for the vacuum and computers and recharging of batteries) NO running water and an outhouse (this is cold at 3am). Our larger propane frig would not get cold enough to store food safely either. So we were forced to use the little 1/2 size trailer one we have in the house!

So cold up there means STRESS... coping, long underwear, etc.
More laundry...which means driving MILES to do. We spent $30 just at the laundromat this year!

I had one PN flare that lasted about 4 days, too. And a severe spasm in my good leg...in the thigh.. which lasted almost a week and was very painful. I found it was a calcium deficiency thing. So I did take some tramadol out of desperation. Only about 5 days. The terrible side effects I was having in the beginning have seemed to wear off. One 50mg tablet at night was lasting almost 24 hrs for me.
